Namibia Sport Fixtures

Namibia’s national rugby team will be the main sporting attraction this weekend when they take on the Blue Bulls at Vegkop Stadium on Saturday afternoon. 

According to reports tickets are fast selling out and a packed stadium can. be expected for Namibia’s farewell match before they leave for the Rugby World Cup next week.

In other sport this weekend, the Capricorn Group Schools Netball finals will be held at Windhoek Gymnasium’s courts, and the MTC Netball Premier League continues with matches at the Khomasdal Stadium.

Dokkie Schmidt’s Football Academy (DSFA) will also hold a tournament atthe Eros Primary School this weekend. 

Further afield, African Stars will take on Power Dynamos at Ndola in northern Zambia in the second leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round match. Stars enter the match in confident mood after winning the first leg match in Soweto 2-1 last week.
