THE National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) has appointed Victoria Sibeya as its acting managing director effective 1 April.
Sibeya replaces Ebson Uanguta, who was in charge since January 2024.
“With her extensive experience and leadership in the upstream exploration sector, we are confident that she will steer Namcor toward continued growth and innovation,” said the statement issued by the company.
Sibeya was previously Namcor’s executive for Upstream Exploration.
Before moving to Namcor, Sibeya was employed as a geologist at the then Ministry of Mines and Energy.
