Five boxers from the MTC Nestor Sunshine Promotions all returned with victories from Zimbabwe when they defeated their Zimbabwean counterparts in Harare on Saturday night.

“In true Namibian boxing style, the boxers proved why MTC Sunshine and Namibian boxing is in a class of its own in Africa,” Nestor Tobias of MTC Nestor Sunshine Promotions said in a press release.

The night started with Sebastianus Nathanael defeating Peter Pambeni on points over six rounds.

Nestor Amukoto followed with a TKO victory against Blessing Kachigwada in the first round.

Mateus Heita then knocked out Bongani Makorova in the second round. The bout kept Heita active as he prepares for his first international fight that will be announced in due course.

Onesmus Nekundi maintained the momentum with a fifth round knockout victory over Tatenda Biningu.

Alfeus Mosquito Shaanika wrapped up a perfect night with a win on points against Philip Musairi on his first return fight under the MTC Sunshine Promotions. He dropped his opponent in the third and fifth rounds, showing real power.

It was a perfect night for the MTC Sunshine Boxing Academy, with its boxers showcasing their resilience away from home in impressive style.

“This was a great investment for our promotion and for boxing in the country and I want to thank our sponsors MTC and PstBet for allowing us to represent Namibian boxing in Zimbabwe,” Tobias said.
