My name is Nelago Johannes. Remember that name – not in a boastful kind of way but in a genuinely honest way. I’m a young motivational speaker who grants young minds wisdom from the counter of my dorm room to empower all Namibians and the world at large.
All is well, Namibia, I’m proud of my people and I’m proud most especially of my young people. Knowing what I know now, I’ve created an motivational Instagram page. A lot of young boys and girls deal with a lot and just need someone to believe in them. Many feel misunderstood and feel their voices aren’t heard. Let me put myself out there and for the life of me hope my country hears me and my nation appreciates me because when you do what I do for free without personal vendettas or a price tag to say the least, at some point you say what you need to without fear. I’m not on anyone’s paycheck and I definitely do not say what people want to hear but what they need to hear.
I’d hope that this is not edited to fit the script of many or shortened to appeal to the market.
I wish to see Namibian boys and girls thrive to their full potential without the doubt that tomorrow a job will not be there because connections are vital part of our degrees or our credibility. I pray that politicians do as much as they promised us to do when they needed people to vote. Remember this when they are in the seats of government with benefits.
I’ve seen what it takes to make your dreams come true if you don’t have anyone believing in you, so please Namibian nation, stand together to make the Namibian child’s dream come true as you promised. Don’t be the finish line between a 10-year-old’s ability to dream as big as they possibly can because corruption and power seem to be all they hear about. After all, parents are the eyes to the world of a child and if they feel the need to educate the child on limiting how far and wide they can dream, maybe we’ve failed as a nation. Namibian nation, please help the Namibian child become the Vision 2030 dream that you promised us by enabling us to live in a free and untainted community, and above all else, a corruption-free nation.
