President Nangolo Mbumba will lead a Namibian delegation to the 22nd Doha Forum departing for Doha on Friday.
The forum, which will convene world leaders, policymakers, and experts to address critical global challenges through innovative approaches, is taking place from 7 to 8 December in the Qatari capital.
This year’s forum is themed ‘The Innovation Imperative: Diplomacy, Dialogue, and Diversity.’
The agenda includes topics such as security, climate change, economic stability, and cultural diplomacy.
According to the Presidency, Mbumba is scheduled to deliver remarks during key sessions on pressing global issues, including Financing the Future, Economic Development, Progress After Elections, and Transformative Diplomatic Strategies.
These sessions aim to enhance cooperation, promote inclusive growth, and strengthen sustainable development efforts globally.
The forum also provides Namibia with an opportunity to bolster its partnerships, particularly in advancing energy development and agriculture.
Mbumba is expected to return to Namibia on Monday.
