On 12 June 2026, The Namibian published a report titled “ACC probes Keetmans municipality over N$3.4 million deal”. We would like to clarify that Bellatrix SME Finance was not a party to the tender process, nor a recipient of the service level agreement awarded by the Keetmanshoop Municipality. Bellatrix SME Finance’s role was that of a financier, providing post-award working capital to the successful tenderer, JJF Investments. This is a standard commercial service it offers small and medium enterprises. The Namibian apologises to Bellatrix SME Finance for the error and for any misinterpretation it has caused.
