NAMIBIAN teen singer Linda Simasiku collapsed on stage mid-way through her album launch at Old Chez Ntemba on Saturday, club manager Sylvester Simubali confirmed to The Namibian yesterday.
Her spokesperson, Killa-Jay, told The Namibian the gifted young songstress is recuperating at home.’Ja it’s true, Linda collapsed while performing her second last song but she is doing well now. I think that it had more to do with the heat inside the venue because there was not enough fresh air because of the large crowd.’Linda has a problem with her kidney and she probably tried to outdo herself on stage. She was excited and looked very relaxed before the performance but unfortunately the heat finally took its toll on her at the end.’Killa-Jay said the rest of the shows lined up for the CD launch will continue as scheduled.
