The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa) has appointed Josef Kasera as manager for business systems and services. With over a decade of professional experience in information and communication technology (ICT), enterprise systems management and digital innovation, Josef Kasera brings strong expertise in digital transformation.
He holds a master’s of information technology in ICT management from the University of Pretoria and a bachelor’s in computer science (honours) from the University of Namibia. Kasera is professionally certified in Cobit 2019, ITIL 4 and business process management, with specialised training in Prince2 project management.
In his new role as business systems and services manager, he will contribute to strengthening enterprise systems, driving digital transformation and enhancing service delivery in support of the authority’s mandate to regulate and supervise Namibia’s non-bank financial institutions sector. Outside of work, Kasera enjoys running and stays abreast of emerging technological trends.
