THE Jacqueline Shipanga Academy remained atop of the Women’s Super League standings after their 4-2 victory over Unam Bokkies on Saturday.

Emma Naris, Lena Noreses, Melisa Mateus and Alberta Dawes scored for a dominant JS Academy while Zuleika Rutz, Esty Amukwaya replied for second from bottom Unam Bokkies. Closest rival Okahandja Beauties kept up the pressure with a resounding 13-1 drubbing of 21 Brigade United. Juliana Skrywer and Kleintjie Fredericks each scored four goals, while Shirley Cloete scored a hat trick and Toshi Haufiku two goals. That victory kept Beauties, the league’s leading scorers, one point behind JS Academy.Poly Babes in third were 7-0 winners over Challengers, who remain rooted to the foot of the table.
