Maritzburg United have released their Namibian international midfielder, Heinrich Isaacks.
The 29-year-old has been at the Team of Choice since 2012/13, however he perhaps never really established himself as a regular performer for United in the PSL.
The player did enjoy regular game time in 2013/14 for Steve Komphela’s men as he made 18 appearances in all competitions. Yet, it wasn’t enough to convince the club he deserved a new deal for the upcoming 2014/15 campaign.
Isaacks chipped in with three league goals towards the end of his stay in Pietermaritzburg under Komphela, although it wasn’t enough to really convince the club’s management he deserved an extension.
Nonetheless, the Laduma crew understands that Isaacks could be heading for trials with Bloemfontein Celtic in the near future. Soccer Laduma will monitor developments. – soccerladuma.co.za
