Ipangelwa and son laid to rest

LAZARUS Shinyemba Ipangelwa (40), the Chief Executive Officer of First National Bank of Namibia (FNB) and his two-year-old son, Hasenane, were buried at their home village of Omagongati in the Oshana Region on Saturday.

They were killed in a car accident between Otjiwarongo and Otavi last Wednesday. The funeral was attended by many people, including Cabinet Ministers led by Prime Minister Nahas Angula, other Government officials, bank and business executives and community leaders.Deacon Johannes Shivolo of Onampira Roman Catholic Church conducted the funeral service in Omagongati Church.Other speakers at the service included Minister of Fisheries Abraham Iyambo, who gave the eulogy, and the Chairman of the First National Bank Board, Dieter Voigts.The funeral was attended by many people, including Cabinet Ministers led by Prime Minister Nahas Angula, other Government officials, bank and business executives and community leaders.Deacon Johannes Shivolo of Onampira Roman Catholic Church conducted the funeral service in Omagongati Church.Other speakers at the service included Minister of Fisheries Abraham Iyambo, who gave the eulogy, and the Chairman of the First National Bank Board, Dieter Voigts.
