The bag was found in a field by a certain Helao, a resident of Okandjengedi – while he was on his way to work at Oshakati’s Open Market. Another Okandjengedi resident, Simeon Nande Heita, told The Namibian that when Helao saw the bag, he went back home and told an old woman in their house that he had found a bag and wanted her to go and pick it and keep it in her room. The old woman was busy and Heita went to fetch the bag.He gave it to children at the house to put in the woman’s room.”But the children could not stand the smell coming from the bag,” said Heita. When the woman returned they told her about the stench, and she opened the bag to check on the contents.”When they opened it, it was bad.
