A healthy body transcends to a healthy mind. You need not to wait until you come of age to start looking out for fitness programmes. The earlier you start, the better.
If you are looking for something soft and yet rewarding, surely Six More Nine (6MO9) fitness group could be your starter.
6MO9 fitness group is a new enterprise initiated by Alfred Ndyenge, the proprietor and sole member, utilising his education, skill and experience in fitness training to ensure the residents of Windhoek and, in future other towns, will have an access to an excellent fitness and health monitoring centre. Here their health will be managed and bettered in a convenient location and at excellent price.
Their all-in-one fitness training and health monitoring centre caters to clients from all walks of life. They create and promote wellness strategies to facilitate lifestyle changes and overall health improvement.
With a resurgence of the popularity of health and fitness, 6MO9 offers a combination of both boot camp and cross fit exercise in one place.
They are currently operating and burning off some kilos from Windhoek’s TransNamib Palm Tree Park in the city centre at 17h30 from Mondays to Thursdays, along with early morning hikes on Saturdays.
“There is a burgeoning demand for efficient and effective fitness training the world over. Millions of people, both young and old, daily seek to get fit and attain healthy lifestyles for a multitude of reasons. Thus, we do personalised outdoor exercising mixed with outdoor activities such as mountain hiking, cycling and aquatics on a regular basis,” said Alfred.
While you may have a personal objective to get fit, 6MO9 provides targeted and personal attention to all participants with tailor made programmes to ensure they live healthy, and as a result, highly productive lives.
“We work with all participants to develop and attain their personal fitness goals.”
Alfred confirmed that as per need, participants do undergo analysis at the hands of the trainers who will then design the most appropriate and effective means to reach their fitness targets. To date, they utilise the latest in fitness training techniques as well as the most effective of gym equipment.
“I really enjoy the bootcamp sessions. The group supports and helps you push yourself to reach your fitness goals. The environment is filled with jolly moments as you get to make new friends. The instructors are fun and knowledgeable. I mostly enjoy the nature hikes on Saturday mornings,” says Yochanaan Coetzee, who has participated in the activities since the beginning of the year.
If you are over the age of 18, or “young at heart”, as Alfred puts it, 6MO9 invites you to get in on a fitness programme at a fee of N$300 a month.
“It’s best you start to live healthy at a young age as it expands your life expectancy,” he said.
