The South African-based boere rock band Elvis se Seun will be performing at the Warehouse Theatre on Wednesday, 27 July.
Lead by Stefan Ludik, who shot to fame with his ‘Big Brother’ house antics followed by playing Dr Gustav Kemp in ‘Binnelanders’, Elvis se Seun won Best Album of the Year as well as Best Afrikaans at the 2014 NAMA awards.
Now focusing full-time on their music career, Stefan and his band are travelling throughout South Africa and Namibia to perform at various events. They also performed at the Biltongfees in Windhoek two weeks ago.
The audience is guaranteed to be on their feet all night long with the band’s unique lyrics and rhythm. It is no coincidence that this group is called Elvis se Seun – the dance moves and especially the sound will make you wonder if reincarnation does exist after all.
Elvis se Seun will not only perform their own originals, but will also treat the audience to Queen and Elvis Presley songs.
Stefan, who will be arriving in the country on Wednesday afternoon just in time for a soundcheck, will also be performing at Grootfontein on Friday at the ‘Kuier Fees’.
Fans at the coast can also look forward to seeing the band perform at the Spa Cancer Awareness Day, scheduled for 29 October at Swakopmund.
Fans can tune in on NBC Afrikaans radio for a live telephonic interview at 11h00 next Friday.
Tickets are N$120 and can be bought online at eventstoday.com.na, at the Biltong Shop in Maerua Mall or alternatively at the Warehouse Theatre office.
Doors open at 19h00 and show kicks off at 20h00.
