The recently formed Green Hydrogen Implementation Authority Office, led by James Mnyupe, is actively seeking to onboard eight accomplished executives.
This recruitment drive is being facilitated in collaboration with the hiring agency, Potentia.
The office is diligently searching for individuals to spearhead various pivotal roles, encompassing programme management, strategic planning and policy formulation, transaction oversight, technical expertise and project execution, contract administration, environmental and social impact evaluation, governance and legal proficiency, as well as financial and corporate services acumen.
Moreover, the office is also in the pursuit of an executive assistant who will work closely with Mnyupe. The positions will be offered under a five year contract.
“We invite professionals, experts and enthusiasts from various disciplines to join us in this exciting journey toward a sustainable tomorrow. If you’re passionate about green energy, innovation and pioneering change, keep an eye on our communication as we profile eight executive positions within the green hydrogen programme,” Mnyupe said.
Applicants are invited to get in touch with Potentia, who will exclusively handle and review all applications.
On 7 August, Mnyupe, who is also the green hydrogen commissioner, was announced as the head of the programme for five years.
The programme will utilise funding from development partners whereas the Environment Investment Fund (EIF) will provide administrative and secretarial services.
“The green hydrogen programme envisions Namibia as a global leader in green energy production, setting an example for sustainable development worldwide,” Mnyupe said.
