DEPUTY minister of marginalised communities Royal /Ui/o/oo was injured and taken to a clinic at Nkurenkuru in Kavango West on Friday after he was hit by a falling tent pole at an event.
He told that a loose tent pole became unhinged and struck him on the head. He was taken to a local clinic where he received stitches.
“I am feeling much better and now I’m on my way back to Windhoek,” /Ui/o/oo said on Saturday.
/Ui/o/oo was officiating at the handover of corrugated zinc houses to members of the San community.
