Complainant wanted me to invest in his taxi business – Noa

Onandjokwe medical doctor Dennis Noa on Wednesday told the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court that the man (26) accusing him of rape wanted him to invest in his taxi business.

Noa, who is applying for bail, said he had a disagreement over money with the complainant after he (the complainant) allegedly asked him for N$35 000.

According to Noa, the complainant had asked him to invest in his business, but he refused.

Noa said he called his accuser a prostitute and a “b*tch” during the argument.

Noa said he had reached a point where he was “fed up” with the complainant and wanted to sleep, while the complainant was playing music.

He told the court he was not feeling well at the time of the argument, saying his blood pressure was high and that he was experiencing anxiety.

“My blood pressure was high, I was experiencing anxiety and I had gone to see my doctor that day,” he said.

Noa is facing a rape allegation involving the complainant. He has denied the allegations.

The bail application is continuing on Thursday afternoon.
