Child rapist sent to jail for 15 years

A WALVIS Bay resident who has been staring a child rape charge in the face for the past three years was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment after being found guilty in the Swakopmund Regional Court last week.

Magistrate Gert Retief sentenced Herman Narib (28) in the Swakopmund Regional Court last Tuesday after he had convicted Narib on the rape charge he had faced since his arrest in early May 2003.
