Birds fall, Friends win

BLUE Waters survived continuous threats at goal from Civics on Saturday to salvage a goalless draw, while Friends collected maximum points in weekend matches of the MTC Namibia Premier League played in Windhoek and at Rehoboth.

Despite collecting a point through the draw on Saturday, Blue Waters were handed a 4-2 defeat by Friends at the Reho Stadium in Rehoboth yesterday, while Eleven Arrows also fell 2-0 against Civics at the Independence Stadium yesterday.
