Assistance needed in tracing missing man

The Walvis Bay police are seeking public assistance in finding Benjamin Johannes (24) who went missing on Saturday.

According to Erongo police senior inspector Judith Shomongula, Johannes’ father gave him money on that day to go back to the north after he had an argument with his cousin.

It was allegedly not the first time the cousins have argued.

Johannes refused an offer from his father to transport him to the bus terminal before leaving the house with his suit cases.

His mother, who resides in the north, says he did not arrive at her house.

Johannes is brown in complexion, speaks English and Oshiwambo, and is of average height. He has a scar above his left eyebrow.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact detective inspector Mansie Amamub at 081 763 8188 or the nearest police station.

Police investigations continue.
