Affirmative Repositioning leader Job Amupanda has called for the Nursing Council of Namibia’s board to be dissolved over the alleged illegal importation of medicines into the country.
He posed questions to minister of health and social services Luvindao Esperance in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
“What are you waiting for with all the facts at your disposal? Why are you not taking action?” he asked.
Amupanda said the matter requires urgent action as the lives of many Namibians are at stake.
He said there is no agenda to oust the nursing council’s board, but the matter goes beyond individual and political party affiliation.
