Amawaterways has expanded its Africa Safaris and Wildlife cruise programme by launching four new itineraries in August 2026, each now incorporating Namibian destinations as part of their land-and-wildlife offerings.
The new packages, which vary in duration from nine to 18 nights, combine a three-night cruise on the Chobe River aboard the 28-passenger Zambezi Queen with extended land tours across southern and eastern Africa.
Namibia joins the itinerary alongside Kenya, Zanzibar, Victoria Falls and South Africa.
AmaWaterways chief executive Catherine Powell says the Africa programme holds personal significance for her and that the new tours will deliver richer cultural interactions, varied landscapes and wildlife sightings alongside community-supporting sustainable tourism.
