A Round-Up of Samsung’s New Mobiles

So much is going on at Samsung’;s HQ! From the recent arrest of its heir earlier this year because of a bribery charge to the Samsung S9 not making its intended impact on consumers, even more confusion surrounded the Galaxy Event which was supposed to take place on 11 October, but somehow the South Korean conglomerate has shifted its focus onto other things – the new Samsung Note 9, Galaxy A9 and the foldable Samsung Galaxy X (how sadly unoriginal in terms of the name).

The flagship Note 9 was released in August, but is now widely available and it may be Samsung’;s best product for the year. The phone has a 12-megapixel camera with 512 gigabytes of storage and includes a multi-touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, a fast processor, an iris and fingerprint scanner, available in metallic copper, lavender purple, ocean blue and midnight black. Nothing quite new, but shows promise in terms of performance.

Concerning the A9, which was launched this month, it features a unique quadruple camera, a super Amoled screen and 128 gigabytes worth of storage. With this offer, Samsung’;s solution to better photo and video quality is adding more screens, but we’;re not sure whether this is the right formula to having the perfect photo – unlike the Pixel or iPhone which have consistently impressed.

And then there’;s the foldable phone, which is already rumoured to have an expensive price tag attached to it. The double screened device will include a huge display and has been tested thoroughly over the years, but only time will tell whether Samsung will thrive with the device. Other than these announcements, we can only hope the mobile giant will make a comeback next year and show the Android world how it’;s done!
