A Matter Of Money

A Matter Of Money

I WOULD like to thank John Grobler for informing us about Tobie Aupindi’s salary. It is shocking to hear that he is earning N$140 000 a month, when he has sales consultants with Tourism degrees who are earning N$3 000 a month.

Seriously speaking, what is this? The Government wants young people to get tertiary education so that they contribute to the growth of the country, yet they are forever being demotivated by this kind of issue. How can Tobie be paid that much when his educated employees do not even have money to pay rent, repay their study loans, transport, their families etc. These young people have been with NWR for the last three years earning nothing but the lowest wage. There are many young people out there struggling to make ends meet every day because all the money is going into Tobie’s pocket. The government needs to know who puts it in power and start distributing the cake appropriately. This is mismanagement and self-enrichment. Please keep us informed.
