Often circumstances that one goes through in childhood tend to be obstacles to achieving dreams and living up to their visions.
More often than not, people spend time pitying themselves and being disadvantaged dominates their thoughts.
However, challenges are supposed to shape us and give us more strength to fight for our destiny. In many cases, we let opportunities pass us by because we believe we cannot execute them. This happens simply because of a lack of confidence, the wrong mindset and low self-esteem. We all have opportunities and chances to achieve success. This is because God has created us all and it is now up to us to make our own way to the top.
Make use of the help from above, you will be surprised to realise that you can climb great mountains. It should not matter where you come from, what is important is your drive into the future. We should sometimes not question the hurdles that we are faced with and rather look for ways to mitigate them.
Our past failures can sometimes haunt us and put us at a place where we don’t think of what’s ahead of us and what we can still bring about. The fact that you have endured hardships while growing up only means one thing, you have that rare character – perseverance. One does not need a strong family history in medicine to become a good doctor, neither does one need to be raised by educators to be a good teacher.
You can be anything, despite your circumstances. Hard work and determination are key components to success. Dream big and work hard. Believe in yourself because nothing can limit you and that includes your background and your past failures.
Everyone on earth has their own story to write in life and it is up to you to make sure that you write a story worthy of praise and that can inspire others around you.
