What Men Notice About Women

Women are a lot like gems that are unpolished but take shape through the course of their lives, often turning into exquisite specimens whose beauty and charm can be compared to little else.

According to allwomenstalk.com, research has found that men know, usually in the first five minutes of meeting a women for the first time, whether or not they are attracted to her physical qualities.

The eyes are one of the things that are initially noticed by men when they meet a woman. Her eyes can immediately entrance you and tell you if she is naughty or nice, or if she’s being sincere and honest, versus sarcastic and arrogant.

This is the second thing men notice about a woman. A genuine smile can help you feel more comfortable in your approach, it can boost your confidence and cause you to like her more subconsciously. A beautiful, bright smile can help a woman literally reel a man in.

The other thing noticed by men when they meet a woman for the first time is her beautiful and healthy hair. Research has proven that men believe that hair that looks healthy, is shiny and smooth is a sign of good health and youth. Greasy, smelly and unkempt hair, equally, is a big turn off.

A study revealed that women whose legs are 5% longer than the average are considered very attractive. Most men are suckers for long, lithe and smooth legs, this is one of the traits they notice about a woman that they meet for the first time.

A great cleavage is impossible not to notice. Men can’t help themselves but studies have shown that men only notice a women’s breasts after her face and smile.

According to allwomenstalk.com, men prefer women with a classy sense of style rather than those who show off too much skin. Contrary to popular opinion, men do pay attention to how a women is dressed which can send important cues about her sense of self worth, her social status and how high maintenance she is.

Glowing and Soft

Surveys have indicated that men see women with a healthy looking complexion as more fertile and equipped to produce healthy babies, so some men are likely to be attracted to a women they meet for the first time because of how dewy and soft her skin looks.

Men are only not drawn to a woman they meet for the first time because of her physical qualities. According to stylecaster.com, guys dig a girl with a great laugh. A survey done by match.com revealed that 88% of respondents felt their date’s laugh made an impression on a first date.

A few men were asked to expound on what qualities they noticed when they encountered a new women for the first time in their lives.

Forty four year old retail category manager John James Olivier says ‘the first thing I notice about a woman are her eyes and shoe size’. When asked why he preferred this, he said ‘eyes are the window to the soul and I like small feet as they make a woman special’.

Twenty six year old Geography teacher Kapanda Mujoro first notices a woman’s attractiveness. ‘I first notice her facial beauty because everyone wants that woman who is facially attractive’.

He said he then starts looking at her figure (body shape, legs, and of course a nice, shapely butt because for him, a woman’s figure and shape can turn him on or off).

‘Lastly I start looking at her personality. If she is talkative, respectful and generally if she is wifey material or not.’

He says he looks at those qualities of a woman because they define beauty to him.

‘It is in a man’s nature to look at a woman’s face, figure and behind.’

Some men are drawn to women because of their beautiful, clean looking finger and toe nails.

‘I notice her personality. How she conducts herself, how she interacts with people around her, the kinds of clothes she wears and the music she listens to,’ he said.

‘By knowing the kind of personality she has, I’m able to decide quickly whether I like her or am attracted to her or not.’

From Rodger’s response, it is evident that men don’t only look at a woman’s physical qualities but are also interested in her non physical traits like personality, character and manners.
