NEGOTIATIONS between Spar Swakopmund’s management and the Namibian Food and Allied Workers Union (Nafau) are continuing after talk of retrenchments surfaced.

According to Nafau’s Regional Organiser for Erongo, Cleopas Ngwena, the threat of retrenchments has taken a 180-degree turn since the intervention of the union and salary increases for employees are now on the cards.
