Two men, aged 20 and 37, both from Oshazipeni village in the Outapi constituency, were arrested for allegedly raping a woman (20) at Okagongo kaNaholongo village on Thursday.
Omusati police regional commander Ismael Basson says the incident occurred at around 22h00.
Basson says both suspects were arrested and police investigations continue.
In a separate incident, a man (35), believed to be mentally challenged, allegedly sexually assaulted a minor (4) at Okafitu kaNangombe village in the Ogongo constituency at around 15h00 on Thursday.
The police say the suspect lives in the same house as the victim.
Basson says the suspect has not yet been arrested pending further investigation.
