Lady justice Marlene Tommasi has been sworn in as an acting judge of the High Court.
Tommasi took the oath of office at Oshakati on 1 September. Deputy judge president Hannelie Prinsloo administered the oath.
Her appointment took effect on 1 September and will run until 31 December.
During this period, Tommasi will serve at the High Court’s northern local division at Oshakati.
