Swakopmund is celebrating winning Kwela’s ‘Dorp van die Jaar 2019’ at the Swakopmund Kia Makietie today and tomorrow at the Vineta North Sportsfield. The event – which starts at 10h00 on both days – will feature local and international artists, a lifestyle tent to showcase Namibian local produce and Namibian and South African wines as well as children’s entertainment. Adoptions can be booked on site but approval will be pending in accordance with rules and regulations.
