Film-makers and enthusiasts between 18 and 35 have until 24 April to submit a CV and application to be part of the fifth season of the NBC Drama School. This Saturday, an Avani & Bodyworx rebound fitness event will be taking place – a fun, high-energy workout led by instructors Leah and Maryke. You can join the half-hour sessions between 07h30 and 10h00. Entry is N$230 per session and includes a breakfast buffet at Dunes Restaurant.
On 25 April, the Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition will have a live music show featuring Patrick Sikiliza, Dama Monique, Duppa and D Rex Underfire from 21h00.
This Saturday, Hoadadi Trading presents ‘The Best Of Both Worlds’ music concert, where Ma |Gaisa meets Oviritje at Khomasdal Stadium. There will be traditional food and entertainment. Early bird entry is N$150 and N$350 at the gate.
Next Week
On 30 April you can celebrate International Jazz Day at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre’s Le Roof terrace. Expect music from Beate Baumgartner, Björn Roxin, Denise Koopman, Esme SongBird, Jan-Willem Beuke, Kally Kasinda, Lebo Mothabeng, Sam Batola and Tayo Kasinda. Entry is N$200 in advance and N$250 at the door.
The Blended Voices Choral Competition is returning to the National Theatre of Namibia on Saturday, with nine choirs from across the country competing for the championship title. Tickets are available for N$200 in advance and N$250 at the door.

Every Thursday, Kat Stahl is hosting swing dance classes at Delta Kindergarten between 18h00 and 19h00. Participation is N$150 per person per class. No Experience or partner needed.
Every other Thursday is a social activities event ‘Make Friends and Bla Bla Language Exchange’ at Urban Oasis Apartments in Windhoek from 20h00 to 22h00. Come, mingle and get acquainted free of charge
Fridays you can now join Nice Dance kizomba dance classes at their Windhoek Academy between 17h30 and 19h00 at the National Theatre of Namibia’s Rehearsal Room. Lessons are N$100 per person.
The National Theatre of Namibia is hosting the ‘Stage Actors Training Lab 2026’ every Saturday in their Rehearsal Room between 09h00 and 13h00. These sessions are for aspiring actors, emerging performers and professional actors seeking to refine their craft. N$50-per-class tickets are only available via Webtickets.
Beyond
From 11 to 17 May is the Xtream Holiday Camp for 15- to 25-year-olds who want to work on personal development, creative and practical skills, social and spiritual growth, agriculture (horticulture), discipline and responsibility, sport and recreation and hygiene. This will take place at Jessica Guest House at Ruacana.
