Swapo secretary general Sophia Shaningwa has told former refugees, camping in front of the party head office, to leave.
The refugees were repatriated in 1989.
They must vacate the premises by Tuesday.
The group has been camping at the premises since 22 October last year.
They are demanding answers from the United Nations (UN) regarding funds they say they were supposed to receive.
A meeting was held on Saturday between them, the UN and Swapo.
The group is not satisfied and will now approach president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Another meeting was held on Sunday regarding the protesters vacating the premises.
“At a subsequent meeting on Sunday, it was mutually agreed with yourselves that you shall all vacate and remove your tents and belongings from the party’s premises by no later than Tuesday 10 am,” Shaningwa said in a letter issued on Sunday.
She explained that the party had agreed in good faith to extend the period.
Shaningwa said the matter had been fully exhausted.
