Relationship Vlogs to Keep an Eye Out For

YouTube has been a place of inspiration for everything, from food channels to entertaining music videos.

Using this space to create content, certain vloggers have taken the opportunity to share their lives with anyone who cares to watch. Some people have accumulated hundreds of thousands of subscribers, leading to collaborations with big brands and several opportunities around the world. Although there are YouTubers who are loners, others opt to team up with their significant others and entertain the world with their extraordinary antics.

Jamie and Nikki

One of the most popular YouTube couples are Jamie and Nikki Perkins, an interracial pair who describe themselves as a “young, fun and very in love couple”. Based in Australia, the Perkins family have been vlogging for more than five years and viewers have been following their journey from Jamie’s proposal to the birth of their daughter Ava. The Perkins usually address their everyday life in the ‘Land Down Under’, often discovering new things about themselves (and of course, Jaime’s incredible skills with the camera). It’s hard not to love the two as they share their views on certain topics and if you weren’t aware, Nikki is the sister of international model Duckie Thot. Grab a cup of coffee and join them on the ride of life and updates every week.

Jenna Marbles rose to fame for her quirky videos including ‘How Girls Fall Asleep’ and ‘What Boys Do In The Bathroom In the Mornings’, accumulating millions of views for each video. Although she rose to fame solo, her boyfriend at the time, Max, was a frequent face. However, the two broke up and six months later, she found love in the arms of Julien Solomita, whom she has been with ever since. In Hollywood years, that’s a pretty long time for a relationship. Solomita is a vlogger as well, but often posts videos on his own channel of short films and documentaries. But when the two collaborate, you’re sure to laugh your lungs out. Their popularity also shows no sign of slowing down, with Marbles and Solomita gaining over millions of views per video.

The couple have been featured in newspapers about their lives, and it’s truly no surprise. Set up like a television show with up to 10 ‘seasons’ included on the channel, LaToya Forever (or LaToya Ali) and her husband Adam Ali aren’t afraid to keep it real with you (and their family is no exception). The channel was birthed in 2009 and each video has become more popular than the last. Forever has spoken at several conferences about social media and even developed a mobile game called ‘Save Samia’, named after her daughter. The couple is from Canada, although Forever’s roots lie in Trinidad, which she often refers to in their vlogs. If you have a lot of time on your hands, you might want to check this channel out (each ‘episode’ spans more than 15 minutes).

Aki and Bee are a “young intercultural couple who love to share their lives with people while having fun at the same time.” Bee is a South African and Aki is from Serbia, and with their cultures being so different, viewers get a peek into their lives thanks to their eagerness to talk about acceptance, struggle and life as you know it. It’s that international kind of love! The couple often engage in stories, travels and how they survived a long distance relationship. Despite the strife and struggles they had to endure, they overcame it all and now live together.
