The first tournament of the Arysteq Simonis Storm Schools series for 2026 lit up the Wanderers Sports Hall in Pioneerspark, Windhoek on 13–14 March 2026. With a record-breaking 80 entries—53 boys and 27 girls across the U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19 categories—the event marked a new chapter in Namibian junior table tennis.

It was the largest entry list yet, showing the sport’s growing reach, while junior table tennis in Namibia for the first time required two full days of competition as well.

Live online scoring and updates brought the excitement beyond the hall, connecting families and supporters in real time, while fresh faces from new schools entered the arena, opening doors for future champions.

The hall buzzed with energy as rallies grew faster, matches tighter, and the stakes higher. Every category delivered thrilling contests, with players showing skill, resilience, and sportsmanship. The event wasn’t just about medals – it was about building momentum for the season and inspiring the next generation.
