President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah addresses United Nations General Debate, 80th Session


President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called for urgent reform of the United Nations, including Africa’s permanent representation on the Security Council. Speaking at the 80th UN General Assembly, she urged the lifting of sanctions on Cuba, Zimbabwe and Venezuela, and described Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide. Nandi-Ndaitwah reaffirmed Namibia’s commitment to peace, justice and multilateralism.
