The Oranjemund Town Council has issued a notice of a power interruption between 07h00 and 17h00 on Tuesday.
This is to allow Eskom to commission the Gromis Oranjemund two line.
“Residents are kindly reminded to treat all electrical circuits as live during the outage and to disconnect all electrical appliances to prevent damage when power is restored,” the council states.
It further advises residents of unforeseen circumstances that could delay power restoration.
