The minister of finance and social grant management, Erica Shafudah, will table the national budget in parliament on Thursday.
“The national budget is set to appropriate amounts of money ensuring the fulfillment of the state’s financial needs,” says Wilson Shikoto, the ministry’s spokesperson.
The national budget is customarily tabled in February or March, followed by the mid-term expenditure framework later in the year.
This aligns with the end of the government’s financial year, which runs from 1 April to 31 March.
