All roads lead to the Hage Geingob National Rugby Stadium this weekend when African Stars take on Eeshoke Chula Chula in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of Chula Chula fans are reportedly travelling from the north to the capital for the match and added to Stars’ strong support base a packed stadium can be expected.
There has meanwhile been some late changes to other premiership matches with Unam now hosting FC Ongos at the Unam Stadium at 16h30 this afternoon, while Stars’ match against Mighty Gunners on Sunday has been moved from the Hage Geingob Stadium to the Nau-Aib Stadium at Okahandja.
In other sporting events this weekend, AC Boxing Promotions will present a boxing bonanza at the Wanderers Hall on Saturday evening, with Flame Nangolo defending his national junior lightweight title against David Shinuna in the main bout.
The futsal league continues with the title-deciding match between Quality and Patriots taking place at 10h00 on Saturday morning, while the MTC Hopsol Youth League continues with u13 matches at the Telecom field.
