N$50m Ausspann Plaza to take shape

THE N$50 million new office complex for Windhoek, the Ausspann Plaza, will provide an additional 5 532 square meters in office space in the Ausspannplatz area.

The Plaza is situated next to the Angolan embassy, facing the Ausspannplatz park. Schaal van Wyngaarden, the MD Van Wyngaarden Building company, said one of the biggest advantages of the Plaza was its location, which made easy accessibility and was closer to inner-city facilities. The development is made up of seven units, each separately run by its own closed corporation while still forming part of the Plaza’s exclusive complex. The idea, he explained, is for each unit to acquire its own corporate identity reflecting the image of the tenants. The complex will feature abundant security, ample parking, visitor’s parking, flexible interiors, sectional titles and A-grade finishes, Van Wyngaarden said. The construction is to commence in June of this year and is expected to take 15 months to complete.None of the units have been sold to date, although Van Wyngaarden said interest was high.Other companies involved in the development are Leo Barnard Architects, SBDS, Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers and GS Fainsinger and Associates.Schaal van Wyngaarden, the MD Van Wyngaarden Building company, said one of the biggest advantages of the Plaza was its location, which made easy accessibility and was closer to inner-city facilities. The construction is to commence in June of this year and is expected to take 15 months to complete.None of the units have been sold to date, although Van Wyngaarden said interest was high.Other companies involved in the development are Leo Barnard Architects, SBDS, Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers and GS Fainsinger and Associates.
