In a press statement sent to media late Thursday evening the ministry of education announced the postponement of all Grade 10 and 12 examinations scheduled for Thursday 13 and Friday 14 October 2016 “until further notice”.
The ministry further said pupils do not need to go to schools on Thursday and Friday.
For now, examinations scheduled for Monday will proceed as scheduled.
The announcement is for both private and public schools.
Parents are advised to keep their children at home.
