Alex Miller of Team King Price Racing has taken a commanding lead in the elite men’s category of the Pupkwitz Megabuild Tour de Windhoek with an overall time of 3 hours 17 minutes 40 seconds after the second stage on Friday.
He leads Theuns van der Westhuizen of Team Hollard Elite (3:20:56) by more than three minutes, while Yuri Rordigues of Team JT300 is third in 3:21:42.
Lize-Ann Louw of the Tshenolo Women Pro Cycling Team leads the elite women’s category in an overall time of 3:03:38, followed by Liezel Jordaan of Team Pirtek Hollard, 38 seconds behind in 3:04:16, while Kelsey Jade van Schoor of Team Pirtek Hollard is third overall in 3:04:24.
Theuns van der Westhuizen leads the men’s u23 category in 3:20:56, followed by Yuri Rodrigues (3:21:42) and Christiaan van der Wethuizen of Team Hollard Elite (3:22:08), while Rosemarie Thiel of Team Cymot Ladies leads the women’s u23 category in 3:06:13, followed by Danika Lombard of Team Pirtek Hollard.
King Price Racing lead the men’s team competition with an overall time of 10:02:56, followed by Team JT300 (10:06:35) and Team Hollard Elite (10:22:34).
Team Pirtek Hollard lead the women’s team competition with an overall time of 9:13:19, followed by Tshenolo Women Pro Cycling Team (9:16:38) and Team Cymot Ladies (9:52:04).
