Mikel-Jes productions announces shutdown

Mikel-Jes Music Productions has announced its closure after two decades.

The shutdown will officially take place at the end of April.

Owner Michael Vermeulen thanked those who have been part of the company’s journey.

“As we prepare to close the curtains on our journey in the entertainment industry after two decades, we are filled with mixed emotions. While there is a sense of nostalgia and reflection, there is also an overwhelming feeling of gratitude that permeates our hearts,” he said.

Vermeulen further said they will carry with them the countless memories, lessons and experiences that have shaped them, as well as the connections they forged and the friendships they cultivated that made their journey unforgettable.

“Dear supporters, you have laughed with us, cried with us and celebrated with us. Together, we have witnessed the magic of storytelling unfold on stage, on screen and in every corner of our creative endeavours. From captivating performances that transported us to different worlds, to blockbuster films that touched our hearts and inspired our imaginations. Each moment shared with you has been nothing short of extraordinary. We had the privilege of being a part of your lives, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime, and for that we are profoundly grateful,” he said.

“To our loyal customers, dedicated employees, esteemed partners and the entire entertainment community, we extend our sincerest appreciation for your unwavering support over the years. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our beloved entertainment industry community. Thank you for being our constant source of inspiration and encouragement. While our paths may diverge, the bonds we formed will forever remain etched in our hearts.”
