Outgoing Meat Corporation of Namibia (Meatco) head Mwilima Mushokabanji says he respects the board’s decision not to renew his employment contract and will therefore bow out.
The board is currently hunting for a new head.
Mushokabanji yesterday said this decision was beyond his control.
“What I know is that my contract is coming to an end,” he said.
He said the process is normal, since his contract has come to an end.
“I will respect that,” Mushokabanji said
He did not want to speak about his current performance at Meatco.
“I wouldn’t want to comment on that currently,” he said.
