Former Miss Universe, businesswoman and global goodwill ambassador Michelle McLean has partnered with Gondwana Collection Namibia as the group’s North America representative.
The partnership aims to strengthen Namibia’s global tourism appeal, while promoting sustainable travel and community development.
McLean says the partnership goes beyond business.
“This is a shared mission to uplift communities and showcase the soul of Namibia to the world,” she says.
“As Namibia’s global ambassador for over 30 years, I’m proud to join forces with Gondwana to help place our country at the forefront of global travel, investment and conservation.”
Gondwana says McLean’s global network, international profile, and strong ties to Namibia make her an ideal ambassador as they look to expand their presence in the North American market.
“Our goal is to grow both the brand and Namibia’s profile through collaboration, innovation, and honest storytelling, while staying rooted in sustainability,” the Gondwana team says in a statement.
The partnership also brings together McLean’s long-standing philanthropic work with Gondwana’s community initiatives.
She says the alignment between the Michelle McLean Children Trust and the Gondwana Care Trust opens doors for meaningful impact in education, skills development and job creation across Namibia’s tourism sector.
“We believe this partnership will drive responsible growth that benefits both people and the planet,” McLean says.
Gondwana says the partnership reflects a growing trend in Namibian tourism – one that combines purpose, sustainability, and global outreach.
