The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) has confirmed that Lionel Matthews is no longer in the running to become its acting managing director.
“We can confirm that the negotiation was unsuccessful,” Namcor spokesperson Paulo Coelho confirmed on Tuesday.
Namcor’s executive for business strategy, Shiwana Ndeunyema, will continue to serve as acting managing director until further notice.
