Man wanted for allegedly killing, burying girlfriend

Oshikoto police deputy commissioner Armas Shivute reported that a case of murder and defeating the course of justice has been opened against the suspect, Daniel Ngoma (38), who is on the run.The police are appealing to the public regarding the whereabouts of Ngoma, who comes from Oshilungi village at Onanakali, to report to the nearest police station.The police identified the body found buried in a hut at the village on Thursday as that of Josephine Matias (22). She was allegedly killed by her boyfriend. Shivute said the woman was allegedly last heard quarrelling with Ngoma on Tuesday.“Neighbours reported that they heard Matias screaming for help that evening and she hasn't been seen since. It was only on the 14th that her decomposed body was found and her biological mother identified her,” reported Shivute.
