The police are calling on the public to come forward with any information on the whereabouts of Alexander Jeremiah, a Namibian man accused of attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend.
Senior inspector Judith Shomongula of the Erongo police reports that the attack is alleged to have taken place at around 22h25 on Monday night at Ovijamberero village.
“It is alleged that the suspect, who is an ex-boyfriend to the victim, attacked her with the panga all over her body and she sustained multiple wounds” Shomongula says.
The suspect is currently on the run from police. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
