The Lüderitz Town Council has acquired a fleet of vehicles for its operations.
The council has taken a significant step towards enhancing their preparedness by procuring a fleet of vehicles valued at N$1.8 million.
This new acquisition includes three pick-ups and one sedan.
Lüderitz mayor Phil Balhao says in recent years, the council has faced considerable challenges due to a shortage of vehicles, which has placed additional strain on their teams.
“The introduction of this new fleet will significantly alleviate that pressure and enhance our capacity to respond more effectively to the needs of the community”
“We express our sincere gratitude for the support we have received from the government,” says Balhao.
