LOCAL athletes at the weekend’s Bank Windhoek Track and Field Championship held at the Independence Stadium did fairly well against visitors from South Africa and Botswana.
Household sensation Silba Tjingaete came third in the 200 meters running 24.90 seconds behind South Africa’s speedster, Wendy Seegers, who ran 23.32 seconds.
