Letshego Holdings Namibia is pleased to announce the appointment of Willem Pretorius as chief financial officer, effective 27 October.
Pretorius is an accomplished chartered accountant (Namibia) with over 11 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. He holds a BCom CA degree, a BCom (Hons) in Financial Accounting from North-West University, and a BCom (Hons) CTA from the University of South Africa. He completed his articles with Ernst & Young in Windhoek and obtained his chartered accountant designation in 2014.
Having served in various leadership roles at Letshego Bank Namibia, including acting chief financial officer, head of treasury, and finance controller, Pretorius’ appointment brings continuity and stability to the finance function, ensuring a seamless leadership transition. His deep institutional knowledge and proven expertise in strategic financial management position him to effectively lead the financial governance and regulatory compliance agenda across Letshego Holdings Namibia and its subsidiaries, Letshego Bank and Letshego Micro Financial Services.
The board and management of Letshego Holdings Namibia extend their appreciation to Pretorius for his continued commitment to leadership and look forward to his valuable contributions in this new role.
